User instructions
How to use the
OpsEmailThunderbirdExtension:
- Assign an e-mail message to a project with the dropdownlist
- Select the e-mail message you want to assign to a project
- In either message preview pane or message window select the project of your choice
- Assign an e-mail message to a project by dragging
- Drag the e-mail message to the project folder of your choice while holding the CTRL key
- Lookup all e-mail messages assigned to a project
- Open the project folder, project folders can be found in #shared/project
- All e-mail messages assigned to a project are in it's folder
- Remove an e-mail message from a project
- Go to the project folder where you want to remove the e-mail message from
- Select the e-mail message and delete it
- See if an e-mail message is assigned to a project
- Select the e-mail message
- Check the value in the "Project:" dropdown list
See
OpsEmailThunderbirdExtensionInstallation for information on how to show the project folders and for installation instructions.
Note: Thunderbird delete settings for the OPS account are best set to "Mark as delete", then after deleting an e-mail it will continue to show as marked deleted until a "Compact folder" is done, which will actually delete the message. Other settings do the same, just don't show the message anymore, which can be confusing.
