Usage

Adding project information to an new Event

• Select the day on which you wish to add an event.
• Rightclick on the day and select "New Event".
• Fill in the fields as usual.
• At the bottom of the dialog select a Project from the dropdownlist.
• press ok when satisfied.

Adding project information to an excisting Event

• Rightclick on the event you wish to add project information and select "Edit Selected Event.."
• At the bottom of the dialog select a Project from the dropdownlist.
• Make additional changes if desired.
• press ok when satisfied.

Troubleshooting

• When trying to add an new event/edit an existing event a window pops-up saying that Something has gone wrong.
  • Click ok and close the event dialog.
  • In the menu of the main window go to the "Tools" menu and select the "!JavaScript Console", a new window opens.
  • Check the error messages at the bottom for more information on the error ocurred.

Possible error messages in the JavaScript Console:

• OpsCalendar: Got an empty result from server, perhaps the server/connection is down..
  • The server couldn't be reached. Check that the address is correct and your network connection is working.
• OpsCalendar: faultString: org.openprojectservices.webservice.OpsAuthenticationException: Bad login (no authentication available)
  • The server couldn't authenticate you because the password/username was missing. Please fill them in in "Tools" -> "OpsCalendar Options".
• OpsCalendar: faultString: org.openprojectservices.webservice.OpsAuthenticationException: Could not authenticate: Username or password was incorrect.
  • Check your username and password in the ops options window("Tools" -> "OpsCalendar Options").
• OpsCalendar: faultString: The AXIS engine could not find a target service to invoke! targetService is "--The wrong service--"
  • The server address you filled in was correct except for the service (the last part).

Known issues

• Updating recurrency doesn't work
